hey, i came across your blog through a link on the frodus wikipedia site. i really enjoyed the band, especially the split with roadside, one of my most personally influential bands. anyway, all the writings about syria really interested me, as ive done some extensive traveling throughout morocco myself. two different countries, i know, but two rich histories none the less. as a christian, i always marvel at how extensive the christian world is. living in spain and traveling throughout the whole region for 2 years, it was eyeopening to see the diveristy within the world, its inhabitants and their religions. anyway, keep going with the syrian project, it seems as if there is alot of good things to come from it.
Hmm I'm making another "came across your blog" response. I heard your interview on Dissonance radio and looked this up. I interviewed Frodus for my zine back in 98 or so... "Hangin Tough." I was 16 and though you guys were sooo cooool. Obviously I was right because you're up to unique and dynamic stuff now - your blog is a fascinating and inspiring read. Keep it up, take care!
